Default How do you properly burn the "skins" on cd's?08 Sc

So that the premium radio can download them into the radio? i have followed all the steps. I have the .lka and .lkd files. i just burn the .lka files directly to the cd and then follow teh instructions in the radio manual in my tC. then it says Disk error, eject. I must be doing the burning wrong but don't know what. Has anyone applied new skins to their 08 scion?

i decided to continust in this thread since the title is correct.

ok, thats it, i'm super annoyed, tired of going back and forth to my car to test this thing out. This is what I am doing. I download the packages from that pioneer site instead of downloading one by one. So obviously after i download the whole package, i have to extract them. Ok so when i extract the BGV/VIS's i get an lka file and two lkd files. Am i SUPPOSED TO extract them or leave the file as VIS_g2
Same goes for the BGP. I extract them and I get one lka and about 8 lkd's. The lka seems to be all the lkds in one file. That dont work either. HELP PLEASE.

Anyway after extracting them i copy the 3 files to a cd. Go to my radio, car on radio off, Hold Menu and multiselector button so download insert dis comes up. I put the disc in. couple seconds later, disc error, eject. WHAT DA HEC AM I DOING WRONG! AHHHHH THANKS IN ADVANCE

Somebody plese explain STEP BY STEP starting from the pioneer site.

I believe you are supposed to use the Pioneer Screen Saver Studio program. From the program, there is a button that says Make LKA; click that button. A window will appear from which you need to open the files and select them to the LKA file. You can only choose 2 pics, 1 movie, and 1 background video at a time.

Once you have the files selected, click Write LKA File. After the file is created, burn that file only to the cd. Proceed as above with the installation onto the stereo. It took me a few tries myself to get it all figured out.

Weird, i'm using the pioneer oel program. But ok, you are showing how to make lka files. But i am downloading lka files from the pioneer jp site so they are already ready for burning. i burn lka but still nothing.

VIS lkas seems to be 1,513kb
BGV lkds seems to be 4,164kb
BGP lkas seems to be 318kb

This is the site from Scion and the one I've used:

http://pioneer.jp/car/oel_screensaver_studio/

Saving the pictures from the site are formatted as an lkd file. These are the files that ar selected to make an LKA file.
