How much Sound Deadening Material
I am starting to have my system put in, so far they just finished buiding the (2) 10" custom fiberglass sub enclosures, the subs are 1000W max., powered by a 800W Monoblock Amplifier, just going for a hard hiting system, not looking to win any competitions, or set off alarms....well that leads me to my main question, how much sound deadening material to buy, some have said 60 sq. ft. and others 30. well now knowing what my set up is..every suggestion would greatly be appreciated.
and to give you a peak of what my sub enclosures look like here they are, they were finished today, but now have been dropped off to get painted Flint Mica 1E0 same metalic color as my exterior, did not want to go the carpeting route:

nice boxes but very expensive. where are you planning to use the deadending? I bought 60sqft or Elemental Designs eDead v1se and was able to get my hatch area, both doors and a good amount left over. I personally would of gone with carpet to keep it clean. What subs and amp are you using? FYI, you never want to go off of the "peak or max rms". Its another way of getting people to buy thinking they will hear the max and you dont want to power it up that high.
recommended and many to choose from...

Well do you want to dynamat the whole car or just the trunk area? Im not sure how much square footage to use but I bought 3 dynamat extreme trunk kits (dynamat 19405), which each one contains (5) 18"x32" sheets, and I was able to do my whole car, (trunk area, hatch, back panels, doors, floor, etc.) and I still had some left over.,.

i just want to deaden the trunk area for this set up, i have already purchased 60 sq. ft. of Elemental Designs eDead v1se to be used to do my front door panels, and rear quarter panels, but that is going in at the same time my system does

I used between 160-180 sq ft for the entire car.
2 layers on the floor. 3 on the doors. 4 layers on the rear fenders. 2 layers on the hatch.
Its a big ___ job. Took me a good 3 8 hours days to take everything out, dampen and replace
