Default HP/LP filters on HU, no passive xover?

I have a new kenwood HU that has built in 2 way active high pass and low pass filters, low pass for the subs set to 80hz. now with the component setup how do i wire the tweeter and mid bass speaker to a 2ch external amp? would it be possible to not use the passive x overs for those? also how exactly do i wire the tweeters to the amp? with passive xovers its tweeter and mid bass to xover then to amp. how would i wire that if i dont need the external x over?

For active 2 way you need a 4 channel amp. One channel for each speaker. It's better to just use the external crossover as recommended by the manufacturer. This way you don't need to worry about crossover slopes and freq. and power handling. The speaker companies do this to make it easier for most people since most people don't know how to set up active.
