Nice looking pedals.
I feel for the guy that wasnt too keen on the language selection for the site. I too like my product descriptions to be detailed and written well as to remove any ambiguity from their interpretation.... but to each his own.

i will not pay 40 for this one piece. its just a cover that has a few spots cut out. i mean my god, the damn pedals that match it are 34 bucks....but yet you want to charge 40? unreasonable. consider dropping to 20 and i will buy, but not til then.

Looks alright, but I have some constructive criticism. I don’t really like how it has “holes” that expose the oem plastic and the grid on it. (didn’t notice until now but it looks like the OBX pedals are the same). I think it would look better with some type of solid/smooth backing to conceal the plastic yet still let the “holes” stick out. Put a backing on it and I would be willing to pay $40 for it. But then I’ll have to figure out how to make the OBX pedals match……….
For those that have this design (as well as the OBX pedals), how hard is it to clean? I was thinking it would be difficult to get out the dirt that falls between the holes and the actual pedal. My stock pedals aren’t that clean to begin with, but if I’m going to draw attention to them I would like them to look as close to spotless as possible. I could take them off to give it a good cleaning, but not very easy with rivets.
I’m not positive about the OBX pedals, but I think that they are painted. I seem to remember hearing someone say that it wears off after some time. That is what makes these guys’ product worth more than the pedals. Metal doesn’t lose it’s “metal” finish. Polish is cheaper and easier than paint.
cavemanmac – how easy was it to design these? Do you think my therapist could do it? Nice work though.

OBX has rubber “feet”? I’ve only seen pics of them and didn’t notice. That sounds like a better idea.
EDIT> Rubber feet for the "holes" and a colored backing for the "tC" to match your paint job. Or if you really wanted to put some money into it, do an EL backlighting in the "tC". To make it even more complicated (unfortunately more pricy as well), use a clear “rubber” and put backlighting on the entire pedal. Now how would we match the “OBX” pedals with that one…..
