impedence help.
hi i have a couple of questions i would like to ask..
first off im running
pioneer f90bt
kicker 350.2
boston acoustic 10" 310-44
infinity kappa 60.9 6.5"
my first question is the boston acoustic can be 2 and 8 ohms the kicker 350.2 is running at 110 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms (175 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms)
350 watts RMS x 1 in bridged mode (4-ohm stable in bridged mode). am i not giving the boston enough power.? and since its in 4 ohm mode because i bridged the amp is the 8 ohm on the boston suppose to match the 4 ohm of the amp?. should i buy this amp ALPINE MRP-M500 Car Amplifier because it is 500 watt stable at 2 ohms to match the ohm of the subwoofer.?
and the same question goes for the infinity kappas which is 2 or 4 ohm impedance? should i buy an amp that matches the rms or a little higher with the same ohms?
and i currently have my capacitor ran like this. battert with 4 gauge wire to cap to distribution block with 4 guage wire and from block to both amps with 8 gauge wire is that the correct way to do it..? and.. i have another cap that i want to put in because this cap is my friends. he wants it back but this cap havent been used for over a year or 2 do i have to charge it if so how do i do it?

You should buy an amp that matches the impedance of your speakers.
I wouldn't bother putting the cap in if I were you, but if you must... then read this thread.

I would recommend a quick google search for charging a cap.. which you've probably already done by now.
