Do you know if the gains on the ED amp are set the same as JL amps with the voltmeter and what not?
Should I get the 2 of the dual 2 ohms and go for 900 watts? How big a difference between 1200 vs 900 spl wise. Just seeing if I should play it safe and push 450 to each.!
ProjectD: I can't get the Ov.2s anymore because of the mounting depth..I'm getting a custom enclosure in which only the KV.2s will fit. I'm just wondering what the difference between the two would be and if there is a considerable dfifference.

Juicy: You certainly can set your gains like that. It's not the most ideal way in the world since you're doing it w/o a load on the amp, but it's definitely a good approximation.
For 900 Vs. 1200 on the Kv.2's, honestly, go with the D2's on a Nine.1 or the D4's on a Nine.2X. Both will get plenty loud in the tC, and while they can take a beating(I had an 1800W amp on a pair for a very long time) it's definitely not suggested
As for differences between the K's and the O's, the O's will get louder on an equal amount of power and have a flatter frequency response right out of the box. That said, I doubt you'd be dissapointed in the K's over the O's, and since the box only fits the Kv.2's, no sense in worrying
I had my pair of K's from October 2004 until April 2005 and loved 'em.
If you have any other questions, just let me know.
