Try a little Woolite or Prestone upholstery cleaner and a damp rag. Sonus also sells a complete interior kit. (I like to use white towels so you can see the crud coming up from the fabric).
Spray Woolite or Prestone upholstery cleaner and let it soak in a little bit. Then scrub the area and wipe it with the damp towel. Keep doing this until the stain has been removed then dry completely.
The trick here is to use a "damp" towel as you don't want to saturate the fabric because some of the smell may go into the foam, then you will always have a puke smell when it gets warm in the car.
It may take a few times cleaning the spot but it will come out. Oh one more thing. Once the area is dry sprinkle some baking soda to absorb even more of the smell.
