the iPod only sits in the center console for the tC. on the xB and xA it sits in a hole in the center area that the xBs and xAs have. a long cord would get in the way for them.

i actually found a pic of that area! kinda small but you see whats going on there.

the cord for the tC isnt long at all, and its the same connectors, prolly what the guy is looking for.

I would be interested in the part # of this cord for the tC if it is shorter. I've not been able to find it anywhere. Thanks for the help with this. I've been away on business for a while and am just now getting back to this thread.

how long is the cord you got?
I recently got a good look at the length of the tC cord and it is longer than i thought. i wanna say about 6 inches.

either way I wouldn't know where to find the part number for it.
