If you're just going to power the Kicker CompVR 05CVR102, then your best choice is the Pioneer GM-7200M.

If you use the 7200M amp, you'll need to wire your voice coils in series for a 4-Ohm load. Wiring them in parallel for a 1-Ohm load isn't supported, per the amp's specs. No matter, I agree that amp would work well for you from a price:performance perspective. You'd get 250w from the 4-Ohm load, which is certainly adequate for that sub, and the amp would have plenty of reserve power to produce clean transient peaks.

I'm just saying the power would be a good match for that sub, and the price is decent. If you like the 7200m, I'm sure it would get the job done.

don't buy pioneer amps...they are alright but if you want something good go with the Kicker KX300.1...I got that on my Kicker CompVr104 and it slams and plus the amps are more effiecent and last longer...go to www.onlinecarstereo.com you can get one for like 180

well it all depends on how many subs you are going to run and how you wire them...

with one 10" cvr you would want to buy the dual 2 Ohm voice coil woofer and wire the coils in series to create a 4Ohm load on the amp... with the 10" woofer you should run about 600 watts RMS..... so with the amps you are looking at i would use the GM-D510M BUT BE SURE TO WIRE THE WOOFERS INTO A 4OHM LOAD OR THAT AMP WILL BLOW THE WOOFER...
