i wanted to get a sub and an amp, and i was unsure which would be best for me. It is between

1) ED NINe.2X with a 16Ov.2 Subwoofer

or

2) Kicker ZX750.1 with solo-baric L7 12"

or

3) anything that you guys would prefer that is in this price range.

ed for SQ, kicker for spl! when it comes to the subs. kicker amps cannot be beat though for the price!

so even thought he kicker system would have more power...ED is still better? what about uysing the ED sub with a kicker amp?

NO NO NO!!The L7 is going to hit wayyy harder, but they will both sound different do you want that hard hitting bass or that soft tone bass like tcguy said the ed will most likely give you better sound quality but hey just get some good components and a 4 channel and get the KICKER!

I can get you the L7 and the ZX 750.1 really cheapp. And I think that will sound much better. They will both be brand new in box with 1 year warentee

ive had both. if you want that very hard hit and rumble definately go with the kicker. but if you want sq with a fairly good hit go with the eD. it also depends if you are going ported or sealed. if you go sealed the hit will be more accurate but if you go ported then it will get louder but lose accuracy. but in the end it all depends what kinda sound you are going for
