Default laying carbon fiber

ok, heres the deal, ive ordered 36" by 50" carbon fiber cloth, and some polyester silmar surfboard resin due to its uv protectant quality. I am planning on wrapping the sides of my water fall with the cloth, and maybe a few other peices depending on the amount left over. Ive worked with fiberglass my fair share, but is there anything, or any pointers needed for laying the carbon fiber?? any advice on getting it to wrap down around areas, and getting precise edges so it doesnt run into the inside of the waterfall??............thanks!!!

http://www.uscomposites.com/carbonpage.html i got the 11 oz. weave
http://www.uscomposites.com/polyesters.html and the resin is Silmar 249 Clear Polyester Surfboard Resin

Would the waterfall pieces still snap in place after the carbon fiber? I know its a tight fit so thats why I ask.

thanks for the advice, but i was advised otherwise by a local fabricator....the waterfall would be a bit hard to vac, you just have to be very aware of the fact that the weave does not rise from the surface, and mix the silmar resin with and additive to make your final coat sandable with a very fine grit......thanks though, if it where a bigger project im sure id go that route....

of course, as long asy you seal your edges well with resin, and sand them down properly........
