hey on the randode lighting kit i was wondering if you could use his OEM rocker style switch he is selling as the illumination switch for the lights and put it in the dash where the other blocks are available for use? also what switch comes with the kit?

I'm gonna try and get my cathodes installed this weekend. How do you terminate the power wire to the battery? Any pics? I'm visual person.
Also, would I run a power to the battery for the cathodes and another for the under body kit (not installing UBK yet)? Or could I run one and split it once it's in the cabin... this would seem doable?

terminate the wire with a ring terminal, and hook it onto the bolt for your battery terminal.
What you could do.... do something like what i did with my car. I ended up running a fused 10awg wire from the battery into the car to an auxilary fusebox i mounted up under the dashboard. In doing this, you'll have like 6 slots to tap power from, and you dont have to keep running wires through the firewall grommet. THis is easier and looks cleaner in the engie bay.

Cool thanks. I think I'll do the fuse box thing since I'll have a few more things down the road to hook in. I should be able to pick both the fuse box and ring terminal at auto zone... right?

fuse box is hit and miss at the auto parts stores. some places have them, others dont. i did find mine @ advanced though.
and yes, ring terminals will be found there most definitely. make sure you get the ring terminal big enough to fit the size of wire your running and that the ring part of it will fit over your battery terminal bolt.

I got the fuse box today and ran the wire to the battery. Pretty simple once I saw it and went ooohhhh. I'm gonna try and do the rest tomorrow.
I did have a question about the fuse box. See pic below for what I have. I put the power to the that screw? Does a ground have to hook to it and where?

I finished my main wiring yesterday for my cold cathodes and today I hooked up one with the switch and aux fuse box and here's what I got...
Thanks to Neothin's write up and plans (you can see those in pic). I'm gonna get the front two in today and probaby do under seat and trunk this week or next weekend.
Harrison, how did you mount the ones in the trunk? Did you poke some holes in the wall and ziptie?

I ran a 2 gauge wire from the batery to the trunk threw the firewall, and along side it, a ran a double 16 gauge from the battery to my switch panel. from there i use one to power the switch for my amp (blue) and the other one to power the switch for my lights (red) then ran a wire from the switch to behind my radio, where i mounted the transformer for the cathodes. Being right in the center, the wire length is perfect to reach both driver and passenger. Also since i had a power wire going in there, I stuck a couple of LED's in my vents.
