I don't know why I'm making this so difficult in my head...

Do you basically make a T with the original negative wire and the LED's negative wire?

As you can probably tell...I don't have much electrical experience

You should be able to find the "T-tap" connector at your local electronics store. You could just follow the directions on the box, but it's very simple. You place the connector around the blue dome wire and close it tight. Then you crimp the other piece to your LED negative (-) and slip it into the opening on the connector.

I just snapped these quick pics from the box I used:

And I found this pic online:

Let us know if you still have more questions. Good luck!!

So it was how i pictured...just didn't think it'ld be that easy

Here's my next question...what type of circuit is that? Is it a parallel circuit?

And those line taps...they more or less do the splicing for you? That's pretty cool

correct, they do the splicing for you. Just inser wires and click....all done. Just make sure you match the wire tap size to the same size wire gauge that you or using or it will not sork that great if at all.

Sweet, okay...hopefully last questions. Where exactly are these wires located? I know what they are, but I'm not sure where they are.

Also, is there a way to remove the roof liner?

The wires are located on the left side of your steering wheel and down some. This is where your fuses and fuse relays are. You have to pull offthe plastic plate that covers it. Its right under your switch panel. Theres a handle on it. Pull hard. And yes, you remove the roof liner by removing all the pins and screws that hold it up. Meaning all O ____ handles need to be removed, the hooks in the back, and the dome lights. Just make sure you get all the clips. Good luck.

Any local hardware store would have them. Probably even Autozone.

You can use LED strips, but I'm going to use the superbright superflux LEDs from Oznium. I'm going to drill into the bottom of the door and insert the LEDs there. So that it lights up when the door opens.

LED strips would be easier to install, (no drilling), but I'm going with the individual LEDs so i can aim them at different angles. Plus it's cheaper.

In general, when working with car lighting should everything be wired in parallel?
