I just got this email from him 5 minutes ago.

Dear Sir,

It's very easy. This item is made by my friend in China. So what letter should added? TC? Toyota TC?

Can you send me some Fonts Design?

Jaspen

I responded with all of our requests of lettering and colors along with the font. We might get several options.

I do understand there may be copyright issues, I don't know. But really, I'm not making them or selling them. I'm just trying to find a fast, inexpensive product. All I know is he has them for Mazda, Corolla, Honda. Mini and several others.

Anything is better than nothing. I'm still debating on whether to have Joe CNC the template....

Honestly, a replica of the Lund Sills would be awesome with a variety of possible colors...

I for one would want one as similiar as possible (color wise) to my IIP...

Either that, or one to compliment the factory dash & HU amber color...

I let my friend see this thread. And he caught something.... There is a scammer for one of the proposals.

directparts4u@yahoo.com.hk
His name is Jaspen Tang.

This is what my friend said. ....
"he have other ebay account and already been suspend, 2 of the account cuz he kept the money and runaway, he stole the manufacture entire inventory, if they don't believe it, he can contact his brother, here is one of their suspend account http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...dynamic-sports

its a fired employee on the run from cops w/ stolen company inventory and money
Buyer n_k_24 ( 25)
no longer a registered user Aug-23-05 07:06 7989791225
Follow-up by n_k_24: employee fired, comapny in loss, ebay shutting him down Oct-31-05 18:18

And here is another.
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...rid=taiwan-pro

"they are married couple name are Jaspen Tang and Anson Lee"

"Beware ebay sellers: 1ststuff4u and directparts4u

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Be careful with these ebay sellers. they just reregistered under these new names: 1ststuff4u and directparts4u. there old accounts are closed due to solid negitive feedback right prior to closing the account. Do not want any NC people getting screwed over, so just a precaution. Old names were aerodynamics and Taiwan-pro

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...e=STRK:MEWA:SFS

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...erid=taiwan-pro
"^ this last quote from newcelica.org quoted from another member.

ScionDad you may even contact the brother of this person, he will tell you everything. Also if you need proof... can forward you the letters and everything.

We dont need people like this working with the ScionLife community.

I don't need proof....your word is good enough for me. Even if the guy did make them cheap, I wouldn't buy them from him as he obviously is a thief.

I'm just not sure about getting them done on the cheap.

I do have a couple others that said they are working on them, but obviously now I question their motives.

Once again, you have no idea what your talking about. I'm not making them, selling them or stealing anything. I don't believe he had the idea of lighted door sills since they been around for quite a few years. I've seen them several years ago on Lexus, Benz....THEY HAVE THEM FOR THE CAMRY

However, I did find a company that makes the CAMRY one's and emailed with them for the tC. Stainless Steel and $25 (That's more like it). This guy sells the Mazda and Camry ones.

There's not much point in trying to justify yourself to contrary thinkers. Although I do it too.

Those camry ones are excellent. I'm trying not to over rice my car but I would definitely like a set in Panasonic deck blue.

Do you get to enjoy your daughter's tC as much as you get to work on it?

Both guys said the cost would be around $25 "American" dollars

I'd be REAL skeptical about the quality if the price is anywhere in this ballpark...

Thanks for the slang interpretation. I was just saying if I had the capability to make, market, and distribute these things, I believe I would make a nice profit. I really think these are a good idea...
