Default Lighting project, HELP!

Okay so project 'tony_tC' lighting initiative is ALMOST complete.

Here's a recap of what has been done:
-Full gauge swap
-Shifter swap
-Cubby hole swap
-Front dome door light swap
-Front dome map light swap
-Rear dome swap
-Trunk light swap

In process:
-HVAC (waiting for new LCD clock)
-Stock HU swap (waiting for next crew meetup -idk how to solder )
-Steering control swap (waiting for crew meetup)
-Window control swap (need to order LED's and get with crew)
[I will post pictures later, it's too late tonight]

In the near future (awaiting funding ):
-Cathode lighting interior:
[Driver/passenger footwell; below driver and passenger seat; in the side door pockets]
-Custom LED interior:
[Under all headrests; cupholder; speaker grilles; door handles; air vents; any place else I can find to light up]

WHAT I NEED HELP WITH:
-License plate swap (What LED's I need, and how to do this)
[[I'm assuming blue is illegal for license plate, so I will have to do super white]]
-I want to get some nicer headlight bulbs. Something that gives more of an HID-look, with a blue-ish tint. (Recommend bulbs for me, please)
-I want to get blue parking lights, but I'm not sure if LED is the best bet as I've heard they may blow out.

Thank you in advance to ANYONE who can help with ANYTHING...!

Led's will burn out from the heat in the headlamps, you need leds for the tails, at superbrightleds.com, I don't know what kind. For headlights, go with Silverstar Ultras, bulb 9004. That's all I know. Hope that helps.

168/194 wedge for the license plate lights and parking (like your front dome lights).. but i would be wary about the parking lights being leds.

silverstars are good bulbs.. if you want more blue... hmm.. luminics bure blues.. but be wary about those too melting your harness.

Yes, the needle paint was stripped off and white LEDs were added under the needles.

if you want hints of blue, the Sylvania Cool Blues work very well then do the 9005 retrofit on it. ive had em since april no problems. they are really bright and have a slight hint of blue. i personally dont like silverstars cause alot of the pairs my friends have ( i personally wont buy them ) have always blown out and on their at least third set.

and as for the parking lights... ive had single white LEDs in mine since april as well.. they still work fine.. .. and these are the cheap quality, more $$ than they are worth ones from pepboys. lol

and as for the parking lights. they are 168/194 as squall said. the way you install them is.. when you open your hatch. when you look at the plastic on inside of the hatch, there are two squares that look like they can be taken out. using a screw driver you can easily pop those open. with those off gives you access to the lights themselves. then just twist the bulb out and replace. however i do forwarn you, the hole is purty small, and the bulbs do not twist out easily.

Thanks for the compliments! SquallLHeart, yes it is that bright in person. Whiteblazer01 (Paul) did my gauges for me...he does really good work. As soon as I get back from Germany I'm going to have him do my radio, HVAC, steering wheel controls, and window/lock buttons on my doors.

I know. I told him to keep those stock (P R N D 1 2 3 L). He charged me like $120 for the gauges but I gave him $140 or $160 because he did such a great job and did them while I waited. More convenient than having to send your gauges to someone and hope you get them back (not directed towards anyone!).

hmm.. well.. to keep those "stock"... you can see that he P R N and D still turned to blue... for the ambient backlight.

yes.. it is convienent for him to be located close by. what you pay for is just that..

Okay, threadjackers! haha, jk.

So, what are the size for Silverstar/Silverstar Ultras?
AND...
What can I use in place of LEDs for parking lights? I want something blue, or blueish-white.

PLEASE POST ANY PICS ANYONE HAS!

.... you know there's an owners manual normally in the glove box right?

9006 lows, 9005 highs

they do also make colored halogen wedge bulbs.. do research first.... even though some have blue glass... most times they just shine a bright white.. vice blue... but the white color is still very much better

Well, I was home sick and I was on my laptop from bed...getting up to go look at the owners manual was kind of out of the question.
