MDF vs PVC Baffles?

MDF vs PVC Baffles?
While most people recommend MDF for baffles, I've seen many times people with MDF baffles having to replace them after only a few months due to weathering deteriorating them, so which baffles do you guys recommend? I am between these baffles (MDF) from elemental designs: http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=76
and these baffles (PVC) from http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN:IT&ih=014
Will the PVC lessen my SQ or cause any unwanted anything? Thanks in advance guys!

Plus, how can PVC be negative? What's the difference?

Imo, the PVC is easier to work with...Its not like its that much harder to drill into it or anything, Plus im liking the extra circular ring for the metal shroud on the speakers. I think I'll get these instead of edeads set they got goin on.

MDF is pourous and is not "sealed". ie, if u want to protect it from weathering and the elements, all u need to do is spray with a thin coat of polyeurethane and let it dried. MDF is now sealed and resistant to expanding, cracking, bowing, etc...
PVC cracks and will vibrate/flex more than mdf. also, isn't really a good sound deadening/proofing material.
but hey, they're only component speaker baffles, probably won't make too big a difference.
