my sound setup plans - need some input
Here's what I've figured out so far:
For now, I'm staying with the stock HU. I'm planning to use an eD Nine.4, using 2 channels for a set of comps, and bridging the other 2 channels to power a sub. As for the sub, I'm going with a 10", which will either be an eD 11Kv.2 (dual 2) or an Infinity Kappa Pefect VQ 10. I've got one of Harmonic_Tc's custom enclosures coming my way, so I will have around 0.7 cubic feet, sealed.
Some things I'm trying to figure out are:
On a 4 channel amp, do I need a 4 channel line output converter, or will the amp simply make 4 channels out of the 2 that it gets from a 2 channel LOC?
Anyone got suggestions for a better amp or sub for this kind of setup for around the same money? Also, are there any components out there that compare with the eD ones, because I'm not too keen on waiting for their eDi 6000s v2's to hit shelves. If those and the new SQ10 sub were out now, I'd grab them in a heartbeat... but as far as I can tell they haven't even given a date yet.
Any input is welcome, thanks in advance.

wow, thanks G-NIZZLE. That's pretty nice, and answers my RCA question.
Has anyone tried this out? http://www.crutchfield.com/S-HphS4H4...asp?i=127TM100

I have a SVEN4 line-out converter laying around. It is precut and I can sell it to you for cheap if you want it. - its considered one of the best line out converters. I used it for about a week before I bought my aftermarket HU

Actually, I decided to just add a sub for now, I'll do the comps later on. I ended up getting a 2 channel amp, so now I just need a 2 channel LOC.
Down the road when I put in a second amp and some components, I'll probably add a new HU as well.
