Default my stock speaker connectors were chopped off, am i screwed?

when i had my aftermarket speakers installed the place that did the install (which ripped me off and they totally suck by the way), cut off the connectors that clip into the stock front and rear speakers. now i want to go back to the stock speakers (for my own personal reasons).

is there a way to reconnect the stock speakers?

needless to say i'm going to a different place to do the reinstall of the stocks, but i wanted to know if it can even be done because i haven't heard of anyone who has done this before.

not too sure on what size you would need, i believe to fit 14-16awg wire? go to wal-mart and get some of these...

well I haven't seen the stock speakers yet but there should be a way to simply connect the positive to positive and negative to negative pretty much like they did on your aftermarket speakers.

hmm, i think you might be right. i just took another look at the stock speakers and if you look at the back of them there are two pieces of copper wire running from the white connector spot to the actual speaker. it's enough to connect the wires from the car to. should that work? the tweeters are a different story though....

^^haha. yeah i just noticed that now myself after wondering about this for a few days now.

but also, the white clips are still connected in the front woofer and tweeter with a little bit of wire hanging out where the place cut it. it's not much wire, but it is enough to probably solder it back onto the wiring in the car. is that a possibility?

the rears' connectors were thrown out by them though so i don't have those at all.

yeah you could extend the wires from the clip just make sure you use heat shrink and make sure you don't have any exposed. you don't wanna short ____ out
