I'll be doing similar with the right side trunk wall -removing the carpet wall and sinking the sub as far in as I can, likely on both sides eventually. Using A/D/S/ 10's though since my other speakers and amps are A/D/S/.
Yep, used to be on pennocks, just sold my Fiero. The TC is now my money pit

I thought that was you. Mine's still for sale... No bites, not even a nibble. Guess nobody wants a non-driver! Wish it were nearly as nice as yours was. My TC is also now my $$ pit, bought the AVIC Z1, all sorts of goodies for that, Celica seats, now looking at vertical doors. Must... stop!

I just installed an Avic-D2, I LOVE navigation.

It is just nice to have an aftermarket for my car now, the Fiero had nothing, EVERYTHING was custom, and it was a pain.

You got that right. Can't wait to see what else you have in store.. I almost got the D2, but wanted to be able to play DVD's, plus the voice activated features sounded cool.. Too bad they're not easy to use.

if you go to their page type "forum" in the search and SL members get a fat discount.

To answer a few questions:

The sub is not on the forum discount page because it's rediculously priced at $55/ea.... insanely cheap!!!!!

Running 400watts on one SQ10 isn't for the faint of heart or car audio newcomer... You've gotta be very careful when putting that much power on any sub, you'll need to MAKE SURE your gains are set correctly to keep from severely clipping the signal.... you also need to be able to detect any mechanical noise that the sub would produce before failure so you can avoid it...

pretty much, if you know what you're doing and are careful - you might be able to pull off 400w on a single SQ10 - I personally wouldn't go more than about 300w... but then again - I had 600w on a pair of Eu-700's... so, yeah..

Very nice box man. I am in the process of building a box for a single SQ-10. The sub is sitting in my apartment, just waiting for the box to be finished. I am impressed with how you used the foam insert as the mold. I wish I would have thought of that That will look amazing once you get it in your car. Be sure to post pics when you have everything done and in your car.

Termlab meter, 45Hz I believe.

As for the running of 400W, I had an S4 on a Nine.1. Realistic power is trickier to measure during actual play, but it's a 450x1@4 ohm amp. It's just a matter of knowing the limits and being comfortable w/ having the headroom to possibly get that little extra out, not driving around blasting the ____ out of the speaker at all times

I used to run a pair of 13Kv.2's on an 1800W amp. Advantages to working at a speaker company I guess, if I break it due to being stupid, it's not really that big a deal to replace
