So how much to make one for someone... someone being me?

This would be exactly what i would be looking for... I did not want to and will never go nuts for a audio set up, and i don't want to loose the spare tire.

I'm local... you mind if i get a listen to the set up?

I hate to turn you down, but I will never make another ones of these as long as I live, WAY too much work. If I did make one, it would have to be worth my time, I have about 30 hours into it, so you do the math.

Now that the secret it out about using the foam piece as a mold, I am sure there will be somone out there willing to make you one, but not me, sorry.

fflores, PM your exact location, we can find out where to meet.

Once again, thanks for all the compliments, very appreciated.

I will get some more pics of the amp location, and I still need to build the false floor too.

Thats cool... I am pretty new to the whole world of audio, I do have a friend that might be able to help me out, he has made his own sub boxes before, and can probably help me, maybe all i would need would be the dimensions of this piece, I am CAD designers, i could probably just makes drawing for mass production lol.

As for the PM... PM being sent soon on this and on another item

Well done man. I'm amazed you fit everything under there without loosing any of the functionality. Awesome job on the box, and great work on keeping the tools.

Great work!! How big is the amp, & amp rack. I have mine in the same location, but mine is a mess. Any help would be appreciated.

The amp is 13"x9.5", and the amp rack is the size of the rim in the spare tire, I believe 16.75", you would have to measure to make sure.

It is just a round peice of 1/2" MDF cut to fit in there, very simple.

its actually really simple, all you need is the fiberglass mat, or cloth, and some resin/hardener. The hard part is knowing how to mix the two, but it tells you on the side of the resin container. After its all mixed up, just lay down your glass, and soak it with resin, wait for it to dry, and you have yourself something. After that its all finishing, like sanding, and smoothing to make it look nice.

That is obviously just the basics, and it will probably take you a few trys to get good at it.

The finished product, false floor and all.

I used 1/4" MDF for the false floor, and cut 10" diamiter holes over the subs. After that I laid down some door screen and glassed that in. The reason I put the screen there is so the carpet will have some support over the holes, so it wont sag. After the screen, I just coverd all the boards with carpet, and here it is...
