Thinking of building a custom box from klausaudio.com. However i don't know all the stats that they ask for. I need to know:

1. How many square inches of port area do i need? i am tuning it to 33hz
2. Should i get 2 terminal cups because it is a DVC and i can hook one coil up per terminal cup?


Any help would be great.

Talk to fi they will give you the specs you need. Also, you only need one terminal cup.

i have a ssd 10 in a sealed box 1cf sounds pretty good, not that loud though... even with 700w

 

i.e., VERY inefficient speaker
