Sup guys,

So im pressing unlock/lock on my key but the doors/hatch do not unlock/lock. However, the lights are blinking so there is a signal. Can anyone tell me whats wrong with it before I have to bring it on the dealer next week?

i have mods, but everything was running fine until today.

 

ya.. i had this happen w/ my passenger side earlier this week. windows and locks weren't functioning at all. check the clips in the door panels and behind the kick panels in the front footwells. I had to rapidly take the battery on and off a couple of times and mine worked again.

 

what clips? I have having locking/unclocking my car with my hand reminds me of my 88 camry. =/

 

there are clip/connector things that are behind the kickpanels and the door panel that transmit the window/lock signals. make sure those are snug and connected.

 

hmm well i did led swap for my doors about 2 months ago, if it is loose damn u trung! I guess ill just have to wait and see tomorrow at toyota. =/

 

Not sure if door locks need to be initialized. I know PWR windows need initialization after car battery is reconnected.

 

Also, I noticed that if you have any doors opened and try locking from either the transmitter or the door switch at that moment before closing any doors, the unlock function does not work from the door switch and the transmitter. You'll have to reset the door locking system by turning your ign. switch.
This happens every time with me when I lock my doors with my transmitter prior to my passengers shutting the right door.

 

It was a blown fuse, thanks trung for all the help and everyone who replied here. Saved me a trip to the dealer! :D
