Default need help! radio acc doesnt work!

Hi, guys i really need some help bad. I just bought this 2005 TC bout a week ago and i love it! when i bought it, it had an aftermarket radio in it, but i also noticed that my power mirrors, automatic ____ indicator lights do not work. Also when i press the "air coming inside instead of outside button" on the center console HVAC, the radio turns off. Careful inspection revealed that the acc wire coming from the radio is spliced into the HVAC harness. i found the right acc wire for the radio (grey wire, red with the wiring kit) and connected it. The radio get power but wont turn on. with this connected, the mirrors work and lights work. I checked the fuses ( not relay coz i dont know which ones to check and how) and all the fuses are ok. what else could this be? im so disappointed, can someone please help me? thank you very much!

first, who did you buy it from?

second, sounds like a mess of miswiring that happened. there are wiring manuals you can download from the site that will help.

third, did you get an owner's manual? in sec. 8 where it says the specifications it'll show you all the fuses.

however from it being an aftermarket stereo.... there could be more underlying issues.

how is it wired in? i can't really help much without seeing the vehicle in person.... but i can only assume any stereo shop or MECP certified individual can look at the vehicle and fix it..

though.. i do wonder who installed that stereo in the first place to tap the acc wire into the hvac plug...

are there any other fuse box locations in or out the car? i know of the one in the engine bay, and one on the bottom left of the drivers kick panel. maybe the jusy blew a fuse when installing the radio and couldnt figure out where that specific fuse was. i dont know who wired it. we took the radio out and its somewhat a clean install with a wiring harness, i just saw this one wire tapped in the HVAC harness.

Im having the same Problem , but the funny thing is, I still have the stock head unit, all I added was an amp plug... <img src= "http://i1.ebayimg.com/04/i/06/d8/21/ae_1.JPG"> I also have the same wire spliced into in the air conditioning harness. I have noticed nothing is working since ive been using the " Re-circulating" feature on my A/C .... Have u figured out whats wrong yet?

Hey, thanks but I figured it out... Some how I overloaded my acc 7.5 amp fuse... there are 2 fuse box locations ... one in the engine bay(real avious) and one directly above your clutch pedal... what I did to get to it was lay the seat all the way done and put the steering wheel all the way up and place my head where my feet go. Look up and right behind that "Left Finishing Panel" there is a black rectangle cover that can be removed to expose all the many diffrent fuses. I happen to overload the fuse by using the acc power outlet in the glove box to run a ps2. The fuse is brown and its a type of mini, but not sold in stores, the one in stores will work, but the legs are too long and the cover wont go back on. I found this out by checking what did not work out on this diagrahm....

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=138455

I downloaded the pdf's and worked backwards to this fuse. My mirriors did not work, acc outlet, or my radio. So I looked at all of those diagrams and traced it back to the "1S" junction point. Since i figured that the wires could not have been pulled out, I looked into finding the fuse that powered that junction, and Voala. Post if you still need help
