Quality - Its not as known as Oznium
Support - If it breaks, you have a broken kit, with Oznium, you can get a replacement tube.
Cost - It may be a bit cheaper on eBay, but you want to spend the extra on the Oznium for the quality, you wont be disappointed.

Technically true, but a bit misleading. Buyers should be careful here because "neon" is sometimes used to describe the older, larger type of tubes. The term "cold cathodes", in this context, usually implies the newer smaller type of tubes, which in many ways are better than the old tech.

hey guys I just want to share my experience with my underbody and interior lighting. I went with an inexpensive LED underbody kit (55 shipped on ebay) and some 12" cold cathodes (about $22 total from oznium).

I'm very pleased with all of my lighting!

My ebay underbody LED kit looks great and I'd recommend it as an inexpensive underbody lighting solution.

My oznium internior cold cathodes (2 sets - 1 under front footwells and 1 under front seats) are great! I had a slight problem with one of the tubes and phil from oznium did EVERYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE to correct the situation. I'm so pleased with the oznium product and customer service that I would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a good deal on car lighting (two sets of people got my name and number at a recent show because they'd like me to install similar lighting on their cars).

for the original poster...i have cathodes as well....they are amazing and easy 2 wire, consume less power than neons and look better in my opinion for under dash............to the other part of this thread talking about underbody lighting instead of under the dash lighting a led kit is much better than neon. From an ebay kit you can expect things 2 stop working much sooner and you will not have anybody to fall back on, with oznium any problem or anything will be fixed immediately, plus i have noticed the oznium kits are much brighter/wider angle leds

hope i helped

If your talking about underbody lighting, I like the look of neons ALOT better than leds, it really has a strong, solid, extending glow to it. However they are pretty fragile and I broke them often. So if thats a concern stay away from neons. If your talking interior then I would go with cathodes, you will save over half what you would have to put into neons and I think they are brighter too.
