New Kenwood DDX7017 installed w/ some pics
Installed during lunch today while at work, but I need to take it back out and drill the holes in the mounting brackets a bit further back so the radio cover works. Right now it can close, but not all of the way. Here are some pics taken tonight. Nothing special since I have an old carppy camera that doesnt work too well in low light situations. I will take better pictures tomorrow in the light.

As for the person who asked about the install. It was very easy to do. Maybe 1/2 to take out the two front panels, unscrew the radio, take it out, swap it, and screw it back in.

A couple more pics that show it off better. I love the interface. The menu system takes some getting used to, as the manual really sucks. But the HU itself is great. I am very glad I got it. Wait. I am very glad my wife LET me get it.

I imagine the whole face of the unit moves for CD access. My question on this product is how does it move and is there clearances around the radio areas when it moves. I'm thinking about getting this product for it's navigation features and I ask this because the unit looks recessed in the area. Also, was concern about the radio door function and any interferences between both as well. Thanks.
