NEW SEATS INSTALLED! Sort of... (LOTS OF PICS!)
So if you've been following along in my other thread you'll know I got some new goodies recently. I'll skip the other junk and get right to the part you're here for... PICS! And yes Jon, you probably already guessed what I got...
Them's some big boxes! Seats on the right. Brackets, harnesses and "other" on the left. Next to my car for size comparison.
Out of the box and set aside while I get the OEM seats out. Shh! Don't tell anyone the color!
Brackets.
Harnesses.
You've all seen the "before" ... I had stock seats. So I'm going to skip that and get right to the goods. Driver's side is done!
Moving right along... both done!
And the gf and her neice (she is NOT ours!) enjoying my new seats (they were careful).
So... details. They're Corbeau CR1s with Corbeau sliders/brackets and will soon have black Corbeau harnesses installed. More on that in a minute.
If you check that other thread I linked at the top, there is a bit of a rant on my frustrations in trying to get some other stuff done tonight. Basically I have an NRG Harness Bar that is now sitting in her parent's garage waiting to be installed... as soon as I can figure it out. Other frustrations involve getting the new harness installed... as well as an airbag light now on. But I'm now thinking that light may be because I completely removed the OEM seatbelts and there was something connected to that device that I disconnected.
We'll see. I wanted to get as much as possible done today though b/c there is chance of rain for the next week and a half here. So I may not be able to do jack ____ in the coming days.
Again, thanks to Corbeau for hooking me up. If anyone wants a sticker, let me know. I have a few black round ones of the Corbeau logo (3" and 4" I think) and I can mail one or two out to you if you like.

Thanks guys.
To be honest I was leaning toward the TRS in grey at first... but they didn't have any in stock. They're a bit more aggressive of a seat. Also considered these CR1s in grey... but eventually caved and went for obnoxious red. At least this way they'll stand out more when I show them off.

about the harness bar, can you take pics of the end points and the floor mounts for me?
also about the air bag light, did you try leaving the stock seat belt buckle under the seat and plugged in? also do you have the little black "sensor" plugged in and did you attach that to the seat?

I have not attached the little black sensor to the seat yet. It is under the seat and connected... but I didn't know what it was so I just left it there. Will be ziptieing it tonight.
Have not gotten the harness bar installed yet. I can get pics of the mounting points if you really want though... there's just nothing mounted there.
For the moment the OEM seat belt buckle is still attached, but I have a feeling I'm going to remove it from the seat and stash it under it.
