NRG Harness Bar - OK... who can help?
So as we know there isn't really a DIY on this... and I was hoping to make one when installing my bar. Unfortunately it hates me or I'm an idiot. One or the other.
I know there are a few of you that have these installed and I'm just looking for any tips you might be able to offer.
So far:
- removed ALL OEM seatbelt hardware
- trying to use upper seatbelt hole for the large bar
- using lower seatbelt mount for the supporting bars
- they didn't seem to really meet up properly - do i need to adjust the supporting bars a lot?
- the thing came with a ton of washers - but some of them seemed to hinder the assembly
- Geoff at Nurspec suggested the 1/2" spacer thing - does anyone know where I can get some? i checked Home Depot and a local hardware store and couldn't find anything the right size - or even close
Anyone have anything to add here to help me out? Certainly appreciate it. Or if someone could get some more detailed pics that would also help. Geoff's pics in the other threads help a bit, but I'm looking for pics of all of the mounting points/connections.

I'll take pictures when I get home. I was able to to mount the top of the bar to the arear where the stock seatbelts used to be. To get the bottom supporting bars mounted I had to drill about an inch sized hole in my rear door panel near the bottom the get the bar to meet a mounting point

Well there's that mounting point behind the panel, but I'm talking about the one on the floor right behind the driver's seat where the OEM lap belt attached to. That's where I've been trying to attach the lower supporting rod.

I dont think it will work.... I tried everything possible and there was no way it was even getting close to that hole

OK... so I think I got this installed OK tonight. I'll try to get some pics and more info tomorrow. It seems OK and I was able to use the mounting points that I wanted to use... will show some more tomorrow!
