when you burn it make sure it shoud look like this...

(disk drive)/Pictures/(your.jpg)

you basically put all the pictures in the "pictures" folder. and the "pictures" folder is in the root of the disk. if all else fails its in the manual. lol

before i buy mine i was wondering...

are you happy with the ipod integration? i keep everything on playlists, so i'm thinking it will be pretty straight forward. also, when you ran the ipod cable to the center console, could you use the existing connector, or did you drill?

thanks.

i love the ipod integration. it is very very straight forward and easy. its organized just like the ipod (artist, genre, playlist, album, etc.).

im not too shure what you mean use the existing connector or if i drilled. i cut a small slit in my arm rest for my older ipod connection, then when i got the d3 connection i just ran it the same way (it is in my arm rest).

sorry. i have an '07, and the upgraded pioneer headunit has a connector inside the armrest/center console that connects to a provided cable that connects to the ipod. it would be slick if i could retain that, but if you cut a small opening for the connector/cable from the d3, its no big deal either.

and yea, i saw the (lower) pricing on crutchfield. thanks again.

you cant use the stock ipod cable with with the d3, but it's really easy to take out and put the d3 adapter in, esspecially since the d3 ipod adapter cable is just as skinny as the normal USB ipod cable.

just got mine installed yesterday and i love it.

BUT ONE PROBLEM:
ive read every bypass thread on here and avic411.com but have
just these 2 questions...

1.) WHERE DO I GROUND THE YELLOW/BLACK WIRE TO?
2.) WHERE DO I GROUND THE PARKING BREAK WIRE TO?

i've already moved the yellow/black wire to the slot above it already.

pictures of where u guys grounded ur wires to would definitely be great.

find a ground in your car. or you could also just tap splice into the black wire from your harness cause thats ground too.

Crutchfield had the AVIC-D3 for $799 earlier this week. It's back up to $999. Anyone know why and if and when the price will drop again? I was going to buy this weekend once I get my paycheck tomorrow.
