Also, remember that the wire plug has to be turned 180 degrees from how it was in the factory hole.

i will pull it back out and try again. Its getting aggravating taking it apart, putting it back togethor, driving around the block, not working and doing it again.

I hope what I said makes sense regarding the Mute wire. Let me know if I'm not coming in clear. =P

you dont actually have to drive around the block, my bypass kill switch goes off right away when i flip the switch to off and the car is on. i think the sensor is just on the parking brake lead, so no need to drive around the block

Good point, I wasnt sure tho. With the bypass, do you get any of the ebrake warnings when you turn the system on?
If not, I DO. So that means I gues I can just keep turning on and off till I have a good conection.

my best guess is that you didnt ground the ebrake correctly. cause when i turn my own it just says "driving with nav yada yada yada" check your connection settings and it should say the status of your ebrake ground.

Kinda late, but I found a picture on my phone that I took of my D3. Nothing new that you haven't seen before, but yeah. I told myself I'd post at least one picture of my D3 in my car.

put your pictures you want in a folder called "pictures" then burn that file on a cd in its root ( cd drive/pictures) and that should work. the file has to be at least 1.8megs in size for the d3 to be able to read it.

Mine was plug and play, but when I plugged it in, I accidently pulled out the mute wire. When I went to put it back it, i was putting it backwards. When looking at the pin, it looks like it SHOULD go one way, but it goes the opposite. I finally had time today to sit down and take my time. Works like a charm.

Default Avic-d3? for 2007tc

Just trying to find out if you can still use the ipod hookup in the arm rest with the d3 or is it disabled just as the steering wheel controls are? I've seen the adapter for the SW controls but is there one for continuous use with the ipod in the arm rest?

No the armrest will not work anymore, but you do have a jack on the front of the D3. And if you do decide to do the steering wheel controls dont forget about the 150 ohm resistor.

pureXTC... i got bored at work and made it in photoshop

jbgame13... you cant use the OEM ipod adapter, however you can still run the d3 ipod adapter up to the arm rest. and for the steering remote its the PAC-SWI PS unit.
