Pioneer D1 help??
I installed my pioneer D1 yesterday and I also have the steering wheel adapter with it as well but no instruction manuals. I have gone on PAC's website but I am a little confused by their diagrams.
I know the red wire is constant power and I know the black wire is a ground wire. Where do I connect the third and final wire(white)?
If anyone knows please help.

what's confusing about their diagrams? or their written instructions?
http://www.pac-audio.com/swixprogram...ehicles&ID=357
can you not read?
if you can't understand that.. we can't help you...
(unless someone does it for you... or shows you a pretty picture or something...)

Connect pin 6 wire to ground. Connect pin 7 to the INTERFACE's White wire. Connect one end of a 150 ohm resistor to pin 8, then connect the other end of the resistor to the INTERFACE's white wire. So basically you will have two wires, one with a resistor in series, connected to the INTERFACE's White wire. If the vehicle has Phone options on the steering wheel and you want to use them to control the radio, please use a 560 ohm resistor instead of the 150 ohm resistor indicated. Map/Info button is not used

Thanks for the help but coming from a guy who has an engineering degree, yea it is easy and understandable but for someone who has no experience in this area then yea I don't understand it so I asked. I do not have any directions or instruction manuals. Plus the guy before had wired it up some other way.
Anyways thanks for the help.

well, i do hope you understood the directions above.
there isn't much else to it..
hmm.. i guess i can reword it so that you wire the white wire to both the green and pink one here..
with the 150 ohm resistor in between the white wire and the green one..
and then ground the orange wire.
i didn't mean to sound mean, btw. i'm sorry if i in any way offended you. i just have my way to teaching people to learn how to teach themselves how to do things. yanno.
