Does anyone know if its possible to fit the stock Pioneer headunit into a Corolla?

I have a Pioneer HU that was pulled from an '05 xB and would like to install it in an '03 Corolla. I know the Pioneer unit is double DIN, but the Corolla one is kinda weird - it almost looks like double DIN size, but a bit smaller and the front side is rounded, not flat like the Pioneer unit.

I haven't pulled the Corolla HU out yet, but I'm assuming it might require a different harness too.

Any suggestions?

I believe it might not fit. They are both double din size. I also know that the corolla deck is curved with the dask and the scion one is flat.

I actually have the same question. I was wondering if the Pioneer headunit would fit in a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon (I know random) . Yes I know the harnessed are WAY different, but they are both double din.

I checked out the DIY, but it looks butt ugly! The way the Corolla dash is curved really messes things up. I'm wondering if there's a kit I could buy to mount the Scion HU in?

Also in the DIY, they mention that you need some kind of AUX adapter? Is this needed to get the HU working or just to get AUX output?

now does anyone know if that deck will fit a 99 corolla?
