front stage is currently cdt 6.5 comps... i bought some hertz 165s the other day and the xovers were jacked up, so i havent had the chance to put them in yet. no rear speakers, diamond d400.2 on the front comps, hifonics bxi1210d on the subs.

yes, all the boxes are uncovered mdf...no point carpeting them when i change em out every few months to try something different

old sub setup(one of them)
si mag 12 v3, 2.2 cubes tuned to 31 hz .
(tl'd at 138 on the dash at a much lower than expected 33 hz... could easily do 140s if i just raised the tuning a bit. the tc seems to peak hard in the low 40s)

ghetto ___ box im rocking now just try out a few things with winisd's predicted response vs in car response.

1:1 fourth order my si mag, 4" aero port

(excuse the mess of fishing gear...this pic was taken for reasons other than showing off the box)

box i will be building within a few weeks for my sa8v2s, cant wait for them to finally come in
ive had them pre-ordered since december...oh well, should definitely be worth the wait

6th order parallel bandpass

random pic of the amps mounted, and the floorheld up by a scion cutout i made when i got bored one day. (the wires are a mess, i know. it was in between installs)

also have a dd 9515 lying around here...just never got around to making a box for it
im sure that it would wreak havoc in this car

sa8s came in today, scrapped up the bottom half of the 6th order, just happens to function as an ideal ported enclosure so i threw it in the car.

that is probably the only pre fabbed box id ever suggest using. for all that i hate JL, i have to admit that w7/HO box combo is fantastic, even though they charge you half your soul for it...

heres a few short vids of my subs, still not broken in yet, and theyll be getting a bit more power eventually.

2010 Scion TC Fiberglass Box Build

Trying to build a box that is capable of holding 3 TS-W5000SPL-Premier 12" Comp subs, i have tried 3 different builds and im having trouble positioning my 3x Quantum Audio Amps along with my spare battery and capacitors for each individual amp. Any Ideas?

^^^do a rear seat delete or store the battery n capacitors under the hatch floor is probably your best bet

ill attempt the hatch floor assembly trying to keep my scion as complete as possible, as well as my spare tire going to remove factory sub and see how much space will be available.

Thanks again

gq, i would consider doing something along these lines, and flush mounting everything into the floor, unless you want the wall there for some reason. there should be plenty of room to do so, as those zx amps arent very thick

Default Looking for a new receiver

Right now I have a stock sound system in my TC. I'm looking to buy a new double din receiver that plays video and offers Pandora. It doesn't need to have GPS but if it's a cheap upgrade that would be fine. I also want to install a bypass to watch video while driving. I will be installing this myself, so it needs to be easy to install without any major changes under the dash. I'm open to any brands and just want to hear from people who know more about this stuff than me. Also if it could stay around or under $500 that would be nice. Thank you for the help.

i actually used to have it all flushed to the floor. but when i added the 2nd 4 channel it didnt work and was last minute build. next year its going back flush but only doing 1 L7 and ditching the 3 L5's. i hated the wall there because you cant see the seat delete that has another set of components and 6x9's behind it
