Your talking about a 1400 watt amp...where are you getting the power from to push this amp? haha not from your stock alt....With a paint job like that, go BIG or don't do it at all. Buy Quality products and you won't be let down.

Well minor update got rings done about 2 hours ago here some pix\
retarded black man wanted to be in the picture...lol no offence to anyone he is my friend...but going on
yes i know the outer ring is a lil thin but i was told i can still work with it. It was my first time using a router and i made my own circle jig so i am very proud of that.

first of all i run 3 pdx's in my car. AND ive worked in a very nice stereo shop in my hometown.
its not that you dont have to take the pdx down to 1 ohm ITS THAT YOU CANT. that amplifier is designed to run at 2 or 4 ohms at 14.4 v and produced 1000watts RMS. now if you go out and buy any amplifier for less than 800-900 (except a crossfire) you will be given a PEAK power rating meaning that that is the most that amplifier can produced wide open with a bunch of distortion.
the pdx is clean and powerful. it made a customer of mines nose literally bleed. i love mine as well and it loves me back.
another thing. if you have two dual 2 ohm subs you are going to want to SERIES your subs to raise the ohmage of each sub to 4 ohms. then you want to find an amplifier stable to 2 ohms (in other words it makes peak power safely at 2 ohms) and run the speaker leads into chs 1 and 2. the amplifier will see a 2 ohm load because you have paralleled your connection and be happy and run cool.
IF YOU DO IT THE OTHER WAY: you will burn your amplifier up because your ohms will way way too low/unstable.

K enrique..lol take it easy man jk
no i will be running it at 2 ohms not 1 ohm my miscalculation. the nine.1 will be able to give it 450w @ 2ohms. You think there will be alot of diffence in 50 watts. Anwyas 1 sub was loud at 500w @ 1 ohms so ill see how loud 2 subs are at 450@ 2ohm
