I've had this installed for 2 years now and it wants to act up now. It's the model where it's got a 1 mile range and pageback LCD screen. I don't have remote start hooked up.

My problem seems to be that every time I go out of range, the remote will turn itself off. When I go to turn it back on, it sings the song and won't connect to the car. If I press a button, it just sings the song again. After about 10 mins of waiting, it works fine. All the functions. Maybe there is a simple dummy fix for this but I haven't been able to find it online and I've looked over the wiring, everything is fine. I'm starting to think that the remote is at the end of it's life but I'm not sure. I've reset everything and it still does it, any suggestions?

 

Had this problem also.
I had to fix the battery connectors in the remote.
Just remove the battery on the remote and move the prong and spring and see if they are loose. May need some new solder.
