Hey what's good people?

My python 990 Remote start does not work, i can open and lock my doors
but when i try to remote start...no lucky

has this happen to anyone before?
anyone know what to do?

Do you drive manual or auto? Most installers don't do auto start with manuals, you have to install the relay yourself.

 

Yea definitely something to consider. They will almost never do it for manual from stories like "well I let my gf take the car out and she tried to auto start with it in gear and hit a wall..etc."

 

There are a ton of open ends to your problems here. If you installed it yourself then i would take it to a professional. If you took it to a professional i would take it back. There is an immobilizer needed to remote start a tC but everything else should have come with the python kit. If you had a friend install it i would smack them in the face and take it to a professional. I have put a few alarm systems in tC's now and if you are doing the full package with the 990 then it is a complicated process and if you are unsure with any of the process i wouldn't attempt it if i were you. The nice thing about paying someone to do it is that if something goes wrong you are not liable. good luck
