Default Question about Aftermarket Battery Terminals

Ok,

I bought aftermarket battery terminals, and it may seem like a stupid question, but do I need new stock wiring? or can i just cut it and put it in the terminal?

I believe you can cut the stock wiring but it might not be long enough... I would replace it with like a 4 or 1 gauge...

Wrap the wire where you are gonna cut it with a bit of electrical tape and then use a new hack saw and make quick work of the wire ..........and just mount it back into the new terminal and tighten down........

I gothe KnuKoncepts terminals and I love them but they are a bit big........buthtey hold 0/1 guage anbd are designed well......but a bit spendy for a pair......

Yep the Knus are great..............yeah I guess they were only $30.....seems like they cost more.......but didn't.....LOL

Also when you wrap the end with the electrical tape and cut it then you can use the tape as a guide to cut the plastic off to go into the terminal
