Dave - Lowes is cheapest in Hawaii. $34 for 3/4 inch thick and 99x45". Home depot is something like $45 for the same. Both cut straight for free.

Eujin - I can't believe you cut that with a jigsaw... mine was... well, not so perfect, and I have to keep shaving it. lol.

I got 1 at Lowes for $22.

Man using a jigsaw for that is really clean! How did you get it soo......."perfect"?

Hye eujin you have any more pics of those details? Im really thinking of doin this!

so wait... i can get a board big enough for the box.... and home depot will cut it for me?!?! that saves so much time/agrivation... then the only thinks i would have to cut would be the top peice (the part the eujin traced the stock mat on.. .haha yea im stealing your idea.. hope you dont mind ) and the Circles for the subs?? thats easier than i thought haha. schweet. plus my roommate offered to help. so ill probly get this done sooner then later.

They'll do the straight cuts. Their cuts aren't always accurate when it comes to 1/4 inch, like say 42" x 24 1/4" for example... because they cut mine to the 1/2 inch and I had to use my table saw to fix a couple of pieces... but, their cuts really simplified it.

^^ agreed.... some places (home depot/Lowes) won't make specific cuts because they don't want to be responsible if the cuts aren't correct.... most of them will cut it in half for better fitment in a car..

bump,

looks like april is too busy and i dont have the money right now

im probly lookin at the first week of may or second week of may. ill be at HIN at the SCION VIP section with my tC on display. so i gotta get it lookin clean. im smokin the headlights and taillights the weekend before
