Default Rear speakers 08 tc

I'm getting ready to replace my head unit and front speakers. I will also be adding 2 amps and a sub. One amp will drive the front components and the other will drive the sub. I would like to use the rear speakers as fill powered by the new head unit. Will I just be able to splice the rear speakers into the hu wiring harness so I don't have to run new wire?

In addition how is the aux connector in the glove box wired I would like to continue to use this. My new hu has rca's for an aux Jack. Will I be able to use the existing wiring for that or will I need to replace? Does the glove box aux, iPod connector and accessory power plug all run from the radio.?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

If you want to use the existing wiring to the rear speakers you can. Either strip the connector off or buy these if you want to keep the connectors intact.

I'm assuming you're talking about the aux, ipod, and power connections in the center console. Aux and ipod do run from the radio, but the accessory power plug doesn't. I don't think you will be able to use the aux wiring since it is built into a harness but if you found a wiring diagram and tapped into it you might be able to do something.
