Default reference or discus? (mb quart)

hey guys, Im looking to upgrade my speakers. I have a d3 unit right now, which brand would you recommend for around $150 or less. I was thinking mb quart, but dont know are they any good.

i have mb quarts i love them nice crisp and clear i would say go with those

I have ref components front and rear (the rear is overkill) they are awesome, well worth the money, I think I got them on ebay for $175 or so.

hey guys thanks for the response. by any chance of guys have the product # for the mb quart? and is the install hard to do? also if i only change the front, and not the rear will it sound weird? thanks!

keep in mind you'll need an amplifier, the stock head unit or any aftermarket headunit doesn't put out nearly enough to make any component set sing

RUA 216 is the 6.5" component set with shallow mount woofer

and

RVF 216 is for the normal 6.5" component set (which will fit in the stock location with a speaker ring, such as
