Scion Security has the led (which is red) and mic (glass break sensor) in the switch panel. if there is something by your knee... it's NOT Scion Security.

my guess is you got the KARR system. many Toyota dealerships offer that.

there is a way to add on LEDs, but as far as how, it escapes me at the moment... my guess is just tapping it in.

does anybody with the KARR alarm system (blue led) know how to add on more LEDs so that it blinks when the factory one blinks?

i'm trying to add some lights inside my vents that blink when the alarm led blinks.

"Just tap it in. Just tap it in. Give it a little tappy tap tap taparoo..."

that or provide power to the led elsewhere, and ground it to the alarm's. most alarm systems have a ground somewhere when it's armed.... not sure about karr's.. but maybe that'll work.

lol just tap it baby! just tap it.. hahah thats wut all of my friends been telling me when i ask that Q!

well, the thing is.. idunno which is the alarm's ground :X i dont know where to start looking. i guess i should start from the factory's led and follow it.

i was going to splice into it and use its + and - but the problem is... the wire that connects to the factory's led.. its one solid wire i'm afriad of cutting it and then i wont be able to put it back together. lol

any1 know of an alarm that we can somehow use the tC key? Not the Scion Security. Something better? I like the beeping of the new camary's! But IDK if its possible to get an alarm and program it with our key right now? I really dont want to get one if i have another keyless entry along with my big egnition key? Thanks.

Viper, I believe, makes a system that can utilize the stock remote.

i emailed KARR a LONG time ago.. no response. i dont wanna bother to call them cuz its too much of a hassle to try to describe what i need to know. so i guess here is my question reguarding the car alarm. Part 2

i broswed thru ebay and i saw the varad led lights. they "work with or without an alarm" <~ i dont care about that. but i see that there is a yellow/black/red wire. black is ground, red is power and yellow is the ignition wire.. my question i guess is:

if i splice the red and black wire, would i be able to hook up other single-leds onto it and expect it to blink as well?
