Question Sirius Antenna under rear sunroof?

Hey Guys, I am thinking of relocating my Sirius antenna under the rear sunroof. I am making a tiny bracket ( will show pics soon ) that will hold it right under the glass but above the roll-up cover.

Do you think there will be any issues with reception? It is practically on top of the roof at that point but just under glass...will glass interfere with a satellite signal?

I connected mine to run on the top/left [looking at the rear of the car] of the trunk [since thats the only flat && magnetic part I can figure... I've got an Inv2 that had everything except an AUX cord [which I thankfully had on hand because the FM transmitter was pathetic quality]. Its 12:48AM here, but when the sun comes up i'll take pictures in the light and show you exactly what I did/where I ran it. I'm 17 and it only took me about 20 minutes to run the cords without even lifting up any trim :D.

Btw, the rear trunk was the highest signal I could get after moving it around the car since there's nothing above it. When the trunk went up 12" I lost signal pretty quickly. I think your just better off putting it in a similar place as me.

i mounted my satelite radio antenna at the top of the trunk glass. i took a small amount of 100% silicone and set it right on the glass and have no issue with the signal strength. its been on the car for 2 years now with out any sign of movement. Best part is it doesnt scratch the paint. i will post pictures later today.

I always install them under the front part of the sunroof that flips up. No issues and I have done this on over ten cars.
