Default Small project I started

i'm starting to reupholster the interior pieces. i dont have any prior experience in doing this, so it makes for the fun when i mess up lol. i pulled the pillars, and the rear panels above the rear seats, and the hatch panels as well.

i am using a black solid alova to wrap, and using Loctite adhesive heavy duty spray. the fabric is almost like the oem type, just softer.

this fabric is super cheap right now, 2 bux a yard at JoAnns fabric store, they are having an after christmas sale, 60% off :D so whats a couple dollars anywho

well here are some pix of my progress, not much right now...so let me continue doing so

stock comparison

i plan to do the headliner in a few days...will keep ya posted if anyone is interested

Looks good! Are you going to do the doors and rear speaker panels also? (Where the fabric is.) I have everything to do the doors and panels except the adhesive spray. I don't know which one to get. One last ?: where did you buy your adhesive at?

thanks everybody Hyghgynx, i bought the adhesive from JoAnns fabric store. I will be doing the door panels eventually, I wanna tackle the more hard to get to panels first.

captain, i plan to do the headliner in a rich red/burgundy, same material. gonna try my hand at the hatch, that big piece where the handles are. that looks so complicated, lol.

sciondrgn, when i take off the headliner i will look for a way to customize that with a diff fabric. if there is a way, but i think the fabric would have to be extremely thin.

this project will continue tomorrow morning
