It really is not hard........jsut time consuming.
Here is a break down of the easiest way
1.take out DRiver seat
2.run at least 4guage wire from battery to location of amp
3.run RCAs from back of deck outputs to amp location.
4.run remote wire from back of deck to amp
5.put seat back in....it is easier to run the power and rcas with it out for more room to work.
6.Hook up fuse for amp power wire within 18" of battery.
7.ground out the amp to floor under rear seat is what i used.
8.Get a tone disk of 80hz 0 decible burned off internet.
9.Get a voltage tester that reads AC voltage.
10.put in the tone disk and turn volume up to say 10 and play it.On the amp is a crossover setting **** turn it all the way down and while the tone is playing turn it till tone is the loudest then back it down just a bit
11.figure out 75% max volume on deck......for instance mine goes to 40 volume so I turn up the volume to 30.
12.take your wattage you want from amp and multiply by the ohms you area running the speakers at and then take the sq root of that and that gives you the final AC voltage.
13.use the meter to turn up gain till you get that voltage and then your amp is tuned and will not blow up or blow up your sub....never go past that volume level on deck.
It sounds hard.......but really it is easy. Now I tune a lot of peoples amps and decks now that I know and they all are happy and subs and comps never sounded better.

i personally like the sound of alpine type r's...i do not recommend memphis m-class door speakers...they suck they get fuzzy after a few months and do not handle an amp well at all
