Default SS cage risers

So basically I was installing my Doc Isotope short shifter w/ cage risers and 1 of the risers fell into this little hole underneath the cage........ Can't get that shyt out. Anyways I 'm probably going to email doc about reordering that 1 piece. Once I get it you guys think I can just do the install by just take out the panel which holds the shift boot, and from there just unscrew the bolts and add the risers? Or would I have to take apart the whole center console and cup holders to do it? If I can't would I have to order another washer to put on the rod again? Thanks.

(Took this from the DIY) But jsut wodnerinf If I could add the risers by just taking off this part, isntead of the whole thing.

i think youd be fine with just taking off the piece with the shift boot alone. but it only takes a minute to take off the whole thing, so why not? just to make sure you get everything in good, and avoid dropping another bushing into the black hole

I made the mistake of working on the SS half drunk and in the dark outside haha. The install resulted in internal bleeding of the thumb, its all black =/
