Be careful what you buy. I bought 2 12's and assumed that they fit....they didnt. Now I have 2 10's that fit great

Ok... so reading this sticky... one question I didn't run across...

Can you just swap the woofer? Say a 10" JL??

Im gonna dig into this cuz I wanted something that would fit in the stock space... even if it has to be custom. The space in my lil' baby is precious and don't wanna lose it to a massive sub box.

Are the subwoofer RCA outs on the Pioneer t1809 low-pass or full range? The owners manual does not specify.

Does anyone know which wire is the remote wire for the amp in a 2008 tC. I’ve looked for a blue and white wire and couldn’t find what I was looking for. I have the premium Pioneer if that makes a difference.

I don't know the color of the (factory) remote wire however it connects to pin 3 of the "A" connector on the back of the Pioneer T1809 Head Unit. The "A" connector is the only connector with 10 pins. Pin 3 of the "A" connector is switched and is only hot when the head unit is powered on.

Note to moderator: thanks for clarification

Default Custom 10" shallow subwoofer box

Custom tC box
Made this for my 1st Gen tC. Shallow sub 200 watts RMS and I get to keep my spare tire and trunk space. Hits pretty good for a stealth box.
