Subwoofer upgrade #7

Subwoofer upgrade #7
So finally I got to the power I am looking for. I haven't heard much about this company on Scionlife but I'm in fv<king love with it! My newest setup is a Kenwood 9104D amp running 900watts @ 1ohm into a 12" Fi Car Audio Q. I think this was my 7th upgrade? Here's how it all lays out:
1. Bought my tc with the stock bazooka "10inch" subwoofer built in (actually turned out to be 8 inch with a circuit board acting as an amp).
2. After about a year I upgraded to 2 12" Rockford Fosbreaks P1 running 150 watts into each subwoofer in a floor box.
3. Upgraded my floor box to put my spare back in. Bought a ported 2.2 cu ft box from fierce audio at best buy. Had NO trunk room.
4. Took out the Fosbreaks and bought the Elemental Designs SQ10s, 2 10inch subs, fiberglass floor box next to the spare. Those subs sounded like absolute crap. Not impressed whatsoever.
5. Sold the ED setup, and as an impulse buy, bought a JL Audio 13tw5 with a ____ty box from a local audio shop. That was a gorgeous sub, only three inches thick, and sounded better and louder than both my old Rockford Fosgates combined.
6. Just upgraded my JL to a Fi Q 12". NO word can describe how amazing this sub is. I'm still breaking it in, so I can't turn it up too loud. But even with the sensitivity only at 1, and the boost at +5db, it is quite loud. I have it in a sealed Bassworx box, Shiny front face, black carpet, and rounded corners which they claim reduce turbulent air flow inside the box, causing a smooth sound from the sub. Who knows if that is real, i bought the box for the look mainly.
So it was my 6th setup...
Here are some pictures
Went from this JL:

To this...
Quite a big change. Don't regret it at all.
to Fi Car Audio, and think we should get the company more renowned on Scionlife...
Oh ya and cant forget:
Gotta love s-techs:
