I told everyone it's EL and then now a lot of people kept saying LEDs.

THEY WILL NOT MAKE IT IN LED!

This is one reason it's taking so long people dont read the thread.

People think lighted door sill is a simple product. You guys are dead wrong. These door sills will be made from Stainless steel and will be molded. Even for the EL Plate for a certain color requires a new production line. Making a product isn't as easy as a cookie cutter. It requires planning and etc. I would ask for a little patience.

One reason the list was created was to get everyone's input. That's another reason why there is a community forum like SL. People said it will sell but we are trying our best in getting everyone's input in make the door sills, what happens if we design something that the whole thread thought it will be "ugly" or even label the word "rice" That's why it's important to have some input. I'm not saying everyone has to vote before the product is made.

And the statement "buying time" and etc is really making my teeth grind.

Everyone kept on talking abouyt LED even before ScionDad doing his thing. I can't wait to see what cheap product he is going to release since production takes way longer than a week especially if your are molding and plating it.

First off, I dont think ScionDad is going to come out with some "cheap product", but you know what... Even IF he did it would at least be A PRODUCT!!!

How long has this "product" that you have been talking about been in the works? I think you can tell that there is a want for it, and I think you can also see who wants what. So get it started already. We are just tired of you making one list, then when it FINALLY gets filled you decide to have everyone go back and make a choice. People do have patience, but not too too much...

the list hit 100 less than 10 days ago and some people started to complain. We even had contacted the manufactre couple weeks even before it hit 100 to get thing runnning. Judging by everyone's difference opinions on the door sill's design I had to narrow it down to two choices that would help speed things up.

I can't believe patience last less than 10 days. by looking at the famous projector list that I regret had to leave off and didn't donate. People were more understanding there vs here. A product of anything requires time to do. We can't make a product within 10 days, we need more than that. We are not TRD where this "product" willl delay for more than a year.

I had started the thread only to think that the Scion Community will be interested and create a product as a community.... not to push the producer into submission. We willl still work on our own pace for this Door Sill no one is going to rush us to make door sills that we won't happy to release to the community.

funny. but if you have read the thread i'm not make the door sills. The door sill is being made by a potential SL sponsor.

Listen your taking alot of heat from everybody because we are all looking foward to this product. The problem is that everybody is tired of making a list and then doing it over and over with color style etc. Now if you already have 100 at $70 a piece your looking at $7000, and we all now that once its realeased judging by the quality shown in the pictures you are going to then possible sell anywhere from 500 to whatever... Your looking at $35000 bucks. You cant tell me this is not profetible, you can tell when something look like its headed for success and this product showed signs of it from the very begining. Just look at the heat your getting from everybody, its because we want them NOW. Honeslty we are greatful and Im sure in the end we will all say .. Were happy we waited !!! But still stop asking for feedback and do them in Blue with scion tC and YOU pick the design although everybody looks like they want the Z350 style.

Dont get upset, but I think if you would have posted this when you had the ball rolling already you would have avoided all of this. Again Thanks from everybody and lets see also what sciondad can come up with.

As for me I decided on the OEM Sills that I like very much and I will also purchase your's when they come out.

I have to take the heat no matter what since everything that is going on with the door sills itself I cannot control. I feel that I cool down a little since it's not my fault. I already have been pushing for the door sills since it hit 90. I pretty much know almost to nothing as the other people on the list about the door sills what information I get or asked to get I will post here. As for the profit for teh door sills themselves I also dont know since I'm not the seller or the manufactre, but the messenger more or less. I feel that I have to defend this thread since the original objective of this thread is kinda distorted.

I just showed the thread to the person that was thinking of doing it. He is surprised at all the flames since he knows it not me. So the deal is dropped.

ScionDad.... I hope you have better luck than me. Which I think you will since everyone respect you way more than me.
