Default tC Remote Start/Alarm/Keyless Entry/Etc. Wiring Information

A PDF reader is required

http://tinyurl.com/tC-wiring

This may be located on this site already, if so excuse me, but this is a wiring chart, applicable for all Scion tC's, including Spec models, that will guide you through locating wires for remote start, keyless entry, alarm, etc. installation.

I would love if someone could host it somewhere else so I can remove it from its current location.

though useful, most of that information can be found in various other places.

the bigger issue at hand is a run-of-the-mill DIY person may not fully be able to understand those things that are in the PDF and would be unable to utilize that information fully.

which is also the same problem when looking at the other wiring lists out there..

leaving not very much room to do much of anything... there are many ways to wire something, and some more correct than others..

it's not the information that needs to be given (plenty of that), but a person's own responsibility to learn to understand how things work... and then taking all the information given to figure out their own way to solve the problem at hand.

being said.. there's really not one absolute correct way to do it.. and too many people expect a DIY or something to hold their hand as they work on something..

with some certain installs that'll work, but on electrical work.. there are factors that can come up... issues that present themselves during the install, things that happen that aren't expected, the hundreds of different ways to wire something to do the same exact thing.. some more efficient, cleaner, or easier for others vs another person..

and as you learn and grasp the understanding.. you'll overcome those obstacles.

appreciate the hard work in making the pdf, but it's the same info that someone else could find readily if they searched.

it's more the people who see that information, and still not understand what to do that needs to be taken care of.

I do about 4 alarm installs a day, and have done probably ten TC's. And each and every one is different.
