Default Tell me what you think on this stainless steel handle?

I was thinking of painting the door handle but worry about doing the conversion back again selling the car in the future, so I made my own set of "stainless steel" brushed aluminum overlay, at least I can just peel them off when is the time selling the tC.

The red color you see in the first pic is the reflection of my pants color.
Guys, tell me what you think about it? Any comments are welcome!

there's a stainless steel dash kit out there somewhere. that would flow well with your handles

Nice. Is it edgy or flush? Can you feel the edges?

looks pretty nice, can you take a picture not so close up so we can get a better overall perspective?

Thanks for all the comments!

chrischoi : I'd say it is half and half, since the overlay is so thin, but you still can feel a lil of it, just like I did on my smoke corner.

memoire : I will try and take a pic of it tonight, not so close up

XxHeartxBleedxX : Thanks! I will do another set of silver to match my CSM, will post pic later probably this weekend.

Snowflake : I think I can do it for a nominal price like 15 bucks may be, just to cover the postage and material, and some time doing this at my friend's shop.

I actually really like them.. If the price is right, i'll pick up a set! Send me a PM and let me know. But with the release of the 08s.. People might as well buy the plastic silver colored panels for the door handles (Given that you can buy them seperately from the entire door panel) .. because the 08 silver handle fillers match the rest of the silver interior plastic pieces perfectly.

I'd be afraid your garnishes won't match nearly as well and look out of place.

I agreed that the new 08's handle will definitely be the perfect match, and I used to think about getting just the handle part from dealership may be at Sep 07?? But I am also quite worry about the price, so I finally came up with this low cost alternative which you can still enjoy the distinct look without paying too much, and the most important thing is, you can always go back to stock easily, or upgrade the look according to the trend easily in the future.

By the way, how's 15 bucks sounds for a pair?

jasper, great job on the overlays. they look slick.

i would definitely be interested in picking up a pair. unfortunately, i have to wait until june as i'll be away for all of may in europe and am saving every penny right now.

$15 inc. shipping (?) sounds totally fair to me.
