$15 is VERY fair for these.. especially since they are real metal. Definately a good job.. And really? We can't order 08 Scion parts until the Sept time frame?

Wow...those are AWESOME! Two quick questions, how do you have them on there? Like did you put an adhesive backing on them that will make sure they stick and won't peel off the plastic handle? And also, how easy will removal be? I'm sure you can use goo gone for any residual adhesivness if that is what you used. Really tempted to buy a set from you

Hefta make a clarification right here, theses aren't real metal, but these are faux metal overlays, it has the adhesive backing, peel and stick, it looks just like real stainless steel or brushed aluminum whatever you call, sorry if I mislead everybody else. I was trying to get this done using real metal, but the metal fabric by itself runs about $60-80, and you still hefta pay someone to cut the metal in shape, so that's why I turn out to this alternative, and it really looks good and can't even tell if it is a real one or not.

It has adhesive backing on it, so it is a simple peel and stick process, and blow it with hair dryer / heat gun after to strengthen the adhesiveness. For removal, do the reversal, hair dryer first, then peel and pull. It won't leave any residue at all, if you guys are familiar with the taillight / headlight vinyl overlays, this is about the same thing.

Just came back from friend's shop and made another set of SILVER color handle, it blends real well with the original silver center panel, no brushed or sanded line, just pure solid silver, take a look:

Also, I am working on another round oval pieces for intrument panel, no painting is required, and here's the prototype:

15 bucks? Not bad...I'm liking the silver too but I actually like the original look. My question is how is the feel on it? I read the beginning of the thread but I didn't quite understand the flush or "feel the edges"?

Basically what I want to know is if it is smooth or not. How do the silver ones feel?

Thanks for the interest! Both silver and stainless steel are great, and it depends on which one you wanna go to match your theme. Regarding the smoothness of it, it has a same feeling like you are touching, for instance, a bottle's label sticker, and due to the design of my handles, you barely feel the edge, so it won't cut, nor scrape, nor do anything to harm your hands, hope it helps...

^x2, it's really thin. I do not feel anything when grabbing onto the handle. It would be nice if it went all the way to the edge of the handle, but I like 'em alot. Thanx Jasper!

Actually I tried that way before, unfortunately it just won't stay right due to the sharp corner along the edge, so this is the long term solution having them just on the edge.
